FC Barcelona’s Raphinha Not Concerned With Revenge vs. Bayern Munich in the Champions League
Barcelona winger Raphinha has said he is not thinking about revenge when his team faces Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
“I’m not thinking about revenge,” Raphinha said. “I’m just thinking about winning the game.”
Barcelona will face Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-finals on April 29. The two teams have a history of playing each other in the competition, with Bayern Munich winning the last two meetings.
Raphinha was part of the Barcelona team that lost to Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-finals in 2020. He said he is not thinking about that game when he faces Bayern Munich again.
“I’m just focused on the present,” Raphinha said. “I’m not thinking about the past or the future. I’m just thinking about winning the game.”
Barcelona will need to be at their best to beat Bayern Munich. The German team is one of the best in the world and will be looking to reach the Champions League final.
Raphinha said he is confident that Barcelona can beat Bayern Munich.
"We have a good team and we are playing well," Raphinha said. "We can beat anyone on our day."
