Broncos Rookie Bo Nix Impresses in Preseason Debut
Broncos Beat Colts in Preseason Opener
The Denver Broncos finally broke the ice on the 2024 season, defeating the Indianapolis Colts 34-30. Rookie quarterback Bo Nix got off to an excellent start in his preseason debut, finishing 10-of-17 passing for 154 yards and a touchdown. Nix also led the team on four scoring drives, including the game-winning drive in the fourth quarter. The Broncos' defense also played well, forcing three turnovers and sacking Colts quarterback Matt Ryan twice. Von Miller recorded his first sack of the preseason, and Justin Simmons had an interception. The Broncos will face the Dallas Cowboys in their next preseason game on Saturday, August 20.
