Early Life and Career

Lieke Klaver was born on August 20, 1998, in the Netherlands. She began her track and field career at a young age, initially focusing on sprint events. In 2015, she made her international debut at the European Youth Athletics Championships, where she won a silver medal in the 400 meters.

Klaver continued to progress rapidly in the following years. In 2017, she won the silver medal in the 400 meters at the European Indoor Championships.
